Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of the ways to solve the Lebanese-Israeli dispute regarding the cross-border offshore deposit of Leviathan in its comparison with other examples of the attempts to resolve similar problems in the development of hydrocarbon resources that cross maritime boundaries. A conclusion is made that the existing approaches to resolving cross-border disputes are applicable for the Eastern Mediterranean Leviathan case. The possible scenarios associated with the subsequent development of this field are outlined. An assumption on the probability of their occurrence is made.
