Summary/Abstract: We study the social everyday life of families of officials of provinces of the Upper Volga region at the beginning of the XIX century. The analysis of the social origin of officials and their wives. Methods are disclosed explore future spouses. The factors that influenced the decision to establish the family as a man and a woman. Analyzed the age of marriage. The composition of the families of provincial officials. We describe the role and place of women in the family 's provincial officials, their family practices.
