Summary/Abstract: The paper describes the basic principles of creation of a WordNet-like thesaurus for the Tatar language on the basis of verbal vocabulary. A review of the main lexicographical resources involved for the project is given. Using verbs of sound emission as an example, the authors discuss general methods for the development of WordNet-like resources and examine the key problems arising during the construction of synsets for the Tatar language.
