Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of the article — to shed light on the dynamics of the discourse of the Russian establishment on the issue of femininity and the social role of women in society. The material of press in Tyumen region shows the post-Soviet transformation of the discourse of the establishment. The author draws attention to the normative and non-normative patterns of femininity, mechanisms of stigmatization of non-normative patterns of femininity in different historical periods.
