Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the role of lobbying texts in the mass media and communication. By lobbying texts the author understands public written materials aimed at the formation of public opinion regarding promotion of certain socio-political and commercial interests and adoption or repeal of laws, and intended for mass distribution via the mass media or otherwise. The author examines the merging of lobbying technologies with the activity of mass media as an integral part of the democratic system of political administration of the state.
