Summary/Abstract: The article presents a sociological analysis of the physical space of government services. On the basis of the study of municipal organizations in Kazan, the author shows the spatial dominance of the agent (civil servant) over the principal (population), which forms the idea about the latter playing the role of a vassal in the government system.
