Summary/Abstract: Speech made at a protest rally of Croat soldiers’ mothers spontaneously organized into a movement Chain of Love. The mothers demanded the demobilization of the generation of eighteen – and nineteen-year old boys doing their obligatory military service in Yugoslav Army, but then sent to the front-line and detained after their term had expired. The rally was held in Zagreb on 30th of August 1991 in front of the building of the Fifth Military District, Yugoslav Army Headquarters.
