Summary/Abstract: The article documents a preliminary description of Polish teacher attitudes based on data collected from a representative sample of teachers describing their work habits and occupational experience in and out of school. Cluster analysis allowed identification of five distinct groups. Of particular note but difficult to describe in detail is the group who dedicate exceptionally long hours to work. The most numerous cluster includes those who could be described as “needing support”, who have little work experience and spend relatively little time engaged with their work.
