Summary/Abstract: Knowledge and efficiency of menager TV archive are very impor tant for optimal work of TV archive. Unhappy, most of TV archive menagers are amaters, without basic knowledge of management principles. Training Commission of FIAT/IFTA (International Federation of TV Archives) organise activities on professional training TV archive menagers. On base my 30 years successful experience menaging TV archi ve of HTV, I sistematised my recommendations and principles of TV archive management.
