Summary/Abstract: Almost all the issues of moral values we encounter in the topic of obstetrics and gynecology occur due to interpersonal relationships. Issues regarding to women’s health are not just related to reproductive health but also include women’s development periods (infancy, childhood, puberty, menopause). In order to women’s psychosocially adaptation to these periods, their requirements of treatment, care and education need to be met. On account of meeting the various requirements of women in these periods, a multidisciplinary team work is required. It’s expected that each member of the profession provides specific but complementary health care in the team consists of members of different disciplines such as physician, nurse, midwife, psychologist, biologist, social services expert, dietitian, genetic counselor and physiotherapist. Especially limitations of caesarean section and curettage, whereas forming new legal regulations in order to encourage giving birth with recent health policies in Turkey will effect the autonomy of women negatively. For the medical processes about women, health care team’s decisions will be ethically assessed with legal regulations. In this context, it’s aimed to discuss the subject in accordance with expressions of international associations, ethical declarations and organizations.
