Social cooperatives- noble ideas and problems of functioning

Summary/Abstract: Despite of noble ideas and good models of Polish cooperatives, our social cooperatives do not function properly. It turns out that the law solutions and other actions developed to support the functioning of the social cooperatives are ineffective or are rarely used. Additional problems are also: little consumer awareness, the competitiveness to unofficial market and neighborhoods crisis, involving a lack of reliance to people and institutions belonging to the social environment. All this makes that social cooperatives encounter many problems limiting their activities and impede their development.
