Summary/Abstract: Compound words in the Turkic languages are formed in a number of ways. One of the models is a “phrase-sentence”. This model is more often reveale in a definite group of words (anthroponyms, the names of games and clothes, etc.) in the Azerbaijan language. It must be noted that there are more than 30 of such phrases in the dialectological dictionary of the Azerbaijan language. The “phrase-sentence” model is also characteristic to the anthropological system of the Uzbek language. All the stated above reaffirms the fact that there is no pure and ideal language and the facts stated in the article are considered to be typological deviations.
