Summary/Abstract: The main issue of this article is the image of people with disabilities. Stereotypes have an impact on the functioning of minority groups. Adults classify people with disabilities as a separate group, assigning negative characteristics, such as helplessness, difficulty in expressing emotions, dependence on others, isolation. It is widely considered to be a person with a disability as unfortunate and disadvantaged. Research conducted by the author on a group of sixth grade students attempts to answer the question - Does this also applied to the perception of young people?
