Summary/Abstract: Pregnant women are recommended to take regular, moderate-intensity physical activity, on condition that there are no health contraindications. The aim of this study is to determine the level of knowledge of future exercise instructors on the contraindications to prenatal physical activity. The research was conducted using a diagnostic survey, with questionnaires to 96 future instructors, students of the Physical Recreation faculty at the Gdansk University of Physical Education and Sport. The research shows that future exercise exercise have a low level of knowledge on the contraindications to prenatal physical activity. There is a necessity of including this field in educational programmes for physical recreation instructors.
