Dialogue and interpersonal relations between adolescents and their parents based on research conducted in the High School No.5 in Kraków

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents empirical research conducted in the senior class at High School No.5 in Kraków, one of the most prestigious high schools in Lesser Poland. The paper shows the opinion of adolescents in relation to their relationship with their parents and focuses on quality and scope of dialogue in modern Polish city families. Dialogue can either be based on partnership and respect for the dignity of the child, or it can be a pseudo-dialogue which lacks honesty, acceptance, patience, involvement and the ability to listen.
