Summary/Abstract: Control cards are one of the basic tools for statistical quality control. They enable continuous supervision of a production process and provide information on the process stability and signal any possible loss of future stability. Shewhart’s control cards may be used for monitoring single properties. In reality, we frequently deal with processes characterised by multiple properties. There are a variety of methods to detect whether the course of this type of production process is stable, including T2 Hotellinga cards. This paper presents control cards based on observation depth measure in a sample, which can be used to monitor multi-property production processes.
