Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of the research discussed in this paper is used to calculate productivity and efficiency in agriculture with Hicks-Moorsteen Total Factor Productivity (TFP) indexes. Productivity and efficiency have been identified at the regional level, indicating the reasons for the changes. The calculation period covers 3 years (2010-2012). Hicks-Moorsteen (TFP) indexes was calculated for each Polish province. The TFP index decomposition analysis into measure of efficiency change allowed to identification determinants between periods of calculation.
