Summary/Abstract: Brexit is a fact without precedent. June 23rd 2016 has become a key date in the history of the European community and Europe itself. More than half of the United Kingdom voters were in favour of leaving the European Union. For Vladimir Putin Brexit serves as a clear signal that European unity and solidarity is in crisis and can be used as a bargaining chip in relations with the EU.
