Summary/Abstract: The paper considers the main trends for improving the current civil legislation, which are reflected in the Civil Law Development Concept of the Russian Federation. The systemic changes in the Civil Code of the Russian Federation and other federal laws are analyzed. Suggestions are made concerning further modernization of the current civil legislation.
