Summary/Abstract: Well-being is a multi-faceted concept encompassing factors affecting satisfaction with life. The aim of this paper is to assess the well- being of the societies of OECD countries in 2013, based on data from the OECD Regional Well-Being database. Nine areas are included: household income, place of work, living conditions, education, health, environment, safety, civic engagement, access to services. DEA method is applied. The dependence of efficiency on the level of wealth of countries is presented. The results allow assessing the spatial differentiation of well-being in OECD countries and identifying its causes.
