The picture of Christ in the poetic collection of A.P. Glinka "Intimate Thoughts"

Summary/Abstract: The essay is dedicated to the poetic works of the presently little known Russian poet A. P. Glinka (1795–1863). It analyzes issues related to her religious poetry and the embodiement of Jesus Christ in it. The essay pays attention to the moral side of the poet's poetic heritage. The religious content of Glinka's poems shows his own deep religiosity. In his works Glinka elaborates his own understandy of the role of religion in Russian poetry.
