Using Modern Methods to Solve Geometry Problems

Summary/Abstract: The tests and studies of this research demonstrated the effectiveness of teaching with the use of computers in solving problems and fostering knowledge of Geometry, the development of active thinking and training of skills, as well as abilities in representing Geometric figures in plan. The experimental lot is consists of 112 students of seventh grade students from the "Octavian Voicu" Middle School of Bacău (Romania). We used the formative type of the pedagogical experiment in order to verify the impact of using active-participative methods and modern techniques for teaching-learning-evaluating elements of Geometry relating to the points in plan.
