Summary/Abstract: Atatürk’s sincerity in mentioning peace and protecting it, is clearly observed in his each step. He has carried the same sincerity, both as a soldier figthing at the front and while managing the country as a statesman. In 1931, when he announced the basic principle of Turkey, “Peace at Home, Peace in the World”, for the first time, he has revealed his request as well as his target. In general, Atatürk’s mentioned statement is be used to demonstrate the principle of Turkish foreign policy. On the other hand, it is clearly understood that this statement is not only about the foreign policy, but also directly related to the internal affairs, when the internal-external environment is observed during Atatürk’s speech.
