Summary/Abstract: While planning family holidays one pays attention to many aspects connected with touristic service. It is assumed that nowadays there is a competition using marketing instruments especially important for services, which are customer service, personnel management and management of the processes of providing services. The purpose of the paper is to prove that on the one hand technology has the dominant position in promoting touristic services while on the other the human factor in the form of professional service still counts.
