Global research networks in the modern economy - theoretical and practical aspects

Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of functioning of global research networks in the modern economy. We present the process of internationalization of R & D as a determinant of the creation of a global network of research, the nature and types of global research networks and global countries and regions spending on R & D. In the methodological aspect given the proposal metrics measurement of the internationalization of R & D in global research network. We present several practical examples - management of global research networks in the world (IBM, Samsung, Huawei, Intel).
