Determinants of technical and economic optimisation in the shaping of the courier service

Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the problems connected with the provision of courier services with regard to selected logistic criteria (technical and economic) affecting the quality of these services, taking into account optimisation of the company’s costs. Identification of internal processes has been made (forming of loads, defining the intensity of movement of goods, planning and optimisation of routes, evaluation of means of transport) and the results of calculations have been presented.
