The Economic aspects of the use of cloud computing in small and medium enterprises

Summary/Abstract: Modern information technology which involves cloud computing has become an attractive alternative for small and medium enterprises, which obtain a number of advantages thanks to its use. The present article presents definitions of cloud computing, its models and division according to its application. The article also presents the possibilities of the use of this technology in many areas of activity of small and medium enterprises, as well as economic advantages it offers. Finally, it shows how the model of Cloud Computing differs from the traditional IT architecture model, emphasizing the major differences and economic advantages.
