Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to reveal the candidate teachers' expectations for the teaching profession and to present which expectations have been fulfilled and which are not. In this study qualitative research methods are used and the data gathered from fourteen teachers via interview form. Reliability and validity secured through explaining data collection process in detail and using direct citations from the attendants. According to results its found that the teachers prefer teaching profession willingly and the prestige is found to be the most serious and the least fulfilled expectation for the profession. Good communications with students and the joy of teaching are among the fulfilled and favorable results of the study
