EVALUATING THE CHANGES OF CITTASLOW LOGOS HAVE MADE IN THE MEMBER CITIES, FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF THE CITTASLOW’S REPRESENTATIVES IN TURKEY

Summary/Abstract: This research was prepared with the aim of; in Italy started as a local development model to create sustainable cities in 1999 and Cittaslow Union, which has become a member of 213 cities from 30 countries today, has determined the implementation of Cittaslow philosophy in 11 member cities in the Cittaslow network in Turkey, the approach of the local people to the Cittaslow membership and the evaluations of Cittaslow representatives from the changes taking place after the Cittaslow membership. In accordance with this purpose; A structured form consisting of pre-prepared questions was used to interview the Cittaslow representatives of the Cittaslow network in Turkey and the face-to-face interviews about the factual changes that took place in the cities where the Cittaslow logo and brand management were conducted by using the interview method. Research results; Seferihisar Municipality's Cittaslow in Turkey demonstrates that Cittaslow has the qualities that it can pass all the stakeholders in every field of daily life and set an example for other Cittaslow’s.
