Summary/Abstract: Various bone and horn core artefacts (smoothers used possibly for processing leather or textiles; bone hairpins; raw materials - cattle and sheep/goat horn cores – probably for the manufacture of rings or handles) discovered in secondary contexts in the workshop area of the Basilica extra muros from Istria and systematically studied following the current field methodology, document for the first time in this Western Pontic site the processing of animal hard tissue during the 2nd C. AD.
