Summary/Abstract: The present paper is aimed at analysing the migration declaration Ukrainian citizens in the regional context. It presents the main results of empirical research conducted by the author as part of the project entitled ”EUMAGINE”. At first, the methodology of the research will be described paying attention to particular groups of respondents. Then, the author will analyse reasons and motives inspiring people to migrate and find employment abroad. The main findings are: about half of the respondents declared migration intentions, no significant gender differences can be identified, the higher educated also display high or even very high migration aspiration.
