Summary/Abstract: The question of surpassing the dominant neoliberal ideal is becoming ever more problematic, due to a seemingly radical critique, which denies any possible changes. In “Empire” and “Moltitude”, Toni Negri does not attack Imperialism but rather a vague concept of the Empire. An Empire which is situated everywhere and nowhere, therefore impossible to delimit. In my text I analyse the points of view of two different visions and critiques toward Negri. In the first one, Emanuele Severino sees the Technique as the will to power: this has as objective the cancelation of the shortage, in opposition to the Capital that is characterized by a shortage of assets. In the second one, Diego Fusaro suggests a structure based on the decomposition of the politics of the Nation State that is able to challenge the global economy.
