Summary/Abstract: Entrepreneurship is one of the most important economic terms often invoked in the opinion regarding the status of the state or the economy. As determinants of economic development, shaping the structure of the companies in each country, it should be considered in various contexts. This article was taken on the development of the new business creating in relation to its determinants, in particular, research on the factor, which is the expectation of achieving higher earnings from the business than from employment. The main hypothesis is: people who want to establish a business believe to attain higher income than in employment solution. The hypothesis was developed by the in-depth analysis of risk attitude of people surveyed. They were divided into the 2 groups: risk takers and those with small inclinations to risk. This paper describes how to define entrepreneurship, and what the determinants are. The previous research on the relationship between work in their own business and paid employment were presented. Finally, the results of the tests were described.
