Parki krajobrazowe i narodowe jako element rozwoju zrównoważonego na przykładzie gmin województwa wielkopolskiego
National and landscape parks as part of sustainable development. Case study: Wielkopolska Voivodeship communes

Summary/Abstract: The main aim of sustainable development is to satisfy needs and improve the quality of life of present and fututre generations together with simultaneous resources preservation, including environment. The last question is related to establishing protected areas, such as national (NP) and landscape parks (LP). In common opinion, restrictions and bans covering NP and LP disturb local development and are the costs for inhabitants. This paper aims to present an attempt of evaluation of national and landscape parks’ impact on communities’ socio-economic development in Wielkopolska Voivodeship, using the results of questionnaire survey and analysis of chosen statistical data published by Central Statistical Office. More specific attention was given to such questions as similarities and differences between communities localised inside and outside parks as well as related to the parks’ restrictions and benefits for local communities and inhabitants.
