Protection of Classified Information and Banking Secrecy

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the differences and similarities between the protection of classified information and banking secrecy, and an indication of the possibility of the transfer of certain safeguard mechanisms contained in the Act on Protection of Classified Information to the ground of the Banking Law.Definitely higher requirements which must be met in order to have access and be able process the classified information in relation to the requirements of the protection of banking secrecy puts into question whether the latter is adequately protected.
