Summary/Abstract: In this article the thesis has been exposed that the main forces shaping the professional development is not only possessed social, technical, interpersonal and conceptual competence but also the mutual integrated and sometimes competitive functions and cognitive as well as the axiological motivational processes of developmental character. It is in agreement with G.W. Hegel`s dialectics and M. Penn and E. Kinney`s Zalesne micro-trend theory. These theories are empirically difficult to investigate and predict. So there is a significant need for scientific research focused on identification of the most effective models and patterns which, to a large extent, can enhance our possibilities in making decisions and choices in the field of human resource management.
