Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to identify new challenges for employee evaluation system in theoretical and empirical terms. These considerations are based on the belief that employee evaluation system in the future, may change its shape. New problems and challenges restrict its use in organizations with high levels of employment stability and operating in a stable environment. The empirical part presents the results of a survey conducted among employees of institutions of integration and social assistance. Assumptions of the studies identify employee evaluation system as recommended and useful tool in the characterization and assessment of the competence of employees in terms of their compliance with the implementation of tasks. It should be noted, however, that such an assumption is authorized only in situations referring to the results of the performed diagnosis.
