Summary/Abstract: The Tatar writer Ayaz Gıylecev, who lived between the years 1928-2002, wrote many stories, novels, plays and essays. Many thinkers and writers holding pen in their hands were exposed to more or less state repression in Soviet period. No peculiar authenticity of writers was tolerated. Author Ayaz Gıylecev, who exposed to repressive government policies in Stalin era were forced to spend more than five years of his youth in prisons and labor camps. These long years of intimidation and disciplinary detention of good observer Ayaz Gıylecev with his sharp memory had been a great effective school on the formation of his authorship. Despite all the pressures and challenges of his period, he did not change the original line and remained as an authentic writer
