Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article was to evaluate the changes in the field of social capital, which took place in Poland during the last decade. The evaluation was basing on a set of the values and attitudes selected with reference to existing methodology, relating to one’s relationships with other members of community and with chosen institutions. As a part of conclusion, the areas of strengthening of social capital and problematic phenomenon were identified.
