Summary/Abstract: The article is supposed to describe the integration of the fruit and vegetable market in Poland as a consequence of Poland’s membership in the European Union. On the basis of my own research or available literature it can be stated that the increasing role of Polish fruit and vegetable producers results from EU funding (90% of financial resources allocated for this sector went to Poland) and national budget. Thanks to the support new technologies were introduced and the Polish producers became stronger on the competitive market. It is said that about 20% of fruit and vegetable producers are the members of producer groups and organizations.
