Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study was to determine the frequency of use of the RDP funds within such measures as the modernization of farms and agri-environment schemes on farms, depending on the area of the farm, its economic size and age of the farmer. It was found that the probability of the use of measures modernization of agricultural holdings significantly depends on the area and economic size, but not on the age of the farmer. With the increase in farm size of 1 ha probability to use this measure increased by 4,24%, and the increase in economic size by 1 ESU increased it by 4,5%. It has been determined that the probability that in a farm of 10 hectares financing of development activities from RDP will appear is approximately 10%, and in farm of 50 hectares such probability was at level nearly 50% For the measure of the agri-environmental program, there was no significant correlation between frequency of its use of the analysed variables. It was found that the investment supported within RDP are mainly used in larger in farms which will lead to further dichotomization of development in agriculture in Poland and to marginalization of the importance of small farms in agriculture.
