The Living Conditions of the Inhabitants of the Carpathian Euroregion – The Taxonomic Analysis

Summary/Abstract: The publication presents the empirical research results, which main aim was the comparison of people’s lives in the particular regions belonging to Karpacki Euroregion. In order to achieve the above aim the multidimensional cluster analysis was used – the Ward method and a synthetic indicator of living conditions was constructed. The source of the research was information, which comes from the secondary source: the data published by the Statistical Offices of the component countries of Karpacki Euroregion and the internet websites concerning European statistics (Eurostat). The research period was the year 2012.
