Ideology and Emancipation in Althusser

Summary/Abstract: There are in Althusser’s philosophical production clear passages that lead us to conceive the ideological machinery not only under the common interpretation of class domination and social reproduction, but also considering the subversive and transforming movement that the very conception of ideology enables. This paper is based on the language of theatrical metaphors – which express the displacements of ideological subjection and subversion to think reproduction and its vanishing point inside the mise-en-scène of the Capitalist system.
