Summary/Abstract: The philosophical and theological asceticism highlight very clearly the relevance between philosophy and theology. If the philosophical asceticism is an act purely intellectual and regards our performance, then the theological asceticism is a moral act which concerns the entity, referring to the person asa whole and the closeness with him.
