Work by Mill, called Serfdom of women, belongs to the mainstream of feminist thought and The economic theory of human behavior by G.S. Becker shows that the market economy is influenced by various factors that not necessarily are directly related to the economy. Both scientists whose views are showed in this article are of the opinion that women are victims of discrimination. Both J.S. Mill, and G.S. Becker believe that the inferior treatment of women has a negative impact on the economy. According to the eminent and distinguished economists, every person should have the same social, economic and political rights.
