Preservation problems in the Lapidarium from the History Museum Casa Altemberger

Summary/Abstract: The struggle to transform a wet, dark and cold indoor space into an almost optimal one (when it comes to preservation conditions) for displaying heritage (patrimonial) objects may be a challenge, a trial of perseverance, courage, patience and trust. It was the work of a multidisciplinary team which managed to take such a place never before used for displaying, to make new room for the permanent exhibitions.
