Summary/Abstract: Real estate price indices are valuable information for analysts, investors and representatives of other professions operating on the real estate market. Furthermore, in accordance with the applicable regulations, they should be applied in specific legal purposes. In practice, there are several methods of determining the real estate price indices. All of them have their advantages and disadvantages and reflect actual price movements on the market with different accuracy. This article is an attempt to characterize each group of methods, in particular from the point of view of potential risks of the results credibility.
