Summary/Abstract: According to The Act of Forests in Poland, the Promotional Forest Complexes (PFCs) are forest areas of special economical, ecological, social and educational importance. Thery are elements of sustainable forest management as well. At the beginning of 2015, a questionnaire survey were led, concerning, among others, the role of PFCs in developing of ecological awareness among children, young and adult people. The main aim of the paper is to present results of the research, including education forms, main receivers and the most popular subjects of forest education.
