Summary/Abstract: In the municipality of Gracanica, 42,286 voters were registered, whereby 66.6 % of them voted in 63 polling stations. The Election Day in the municipality proceeded without major problems. Five candidates entered the race for the election of the mayor, as well as 13 political parties for the position in the Municipal Council (30 seats). SDA is a relative winner of the elections, with only 192 votes ahead of the SDP, while the SDP regained its former mayor, Nusret Helić, with 42.30% of the votes. Both parties in the Municipal Council have 9 mandates each.
