Vangelis Kechriotis (30 September 1969-26 August 2015)

Summary/Abstract: On 26 August 2015 we lost Evangelos Kechriotis to cancer. He was 45 years old. After a memorial service at Bogaziçi University followed by a funeral service in the church of Agios Fokas in Ortaköy, he was buried in the Greek-Orthodox cemetery in the Şişli district of Istanbul. He leaves us with both fond memories of the good times we had together and with grief for the future times denied to us; and most especially of course he leaves behind the grief of his wife Ceyda Arslan and their daughter Rana for the future with him that they have been denied.
